Welcome to the website of Saltash Photo Services.
As a specialist in photo renovation and repair, I can
restore and reprint photographs of almost any age and condition to provide you
with a copy that will duplicate the sparkle of the original. I can
do other things too, including photo restoration, photo colouring and image
enhancement. If you don't see what you need below, then please
call or email, I may be able to help. What I am not is a webpage designer,
so please excuse the rather basic layout of the pages here! My aim is to provide you with a useful service
(which is often difficult to find and expensive) at very reasonable cost.
I do this work for pin money, so you won't be charged outrageous prices.
If you don't like the result, then you don't pay anything!
- Photo Restoration

This is the area that provides much satisfaction for both
me and my
customers. I can take virtually any photograph up to A3 in size
(although see note below) and restore it to near original condition.
Some photos are more of a challenge than others, but I have been successful
with some seemingly hopeless cases. I can also add colour to existing
Black & White photographs which considerably enhances the impact of the
photograph. Some examples of picture enhancement and picture repair are shown below:

- Scan to disk
- I can provide a high resolution scanning service to
disk for anything from a single photograph to a complete album. Scans
will normally be at 600 dpi and provided in .jpg format. Other
resolutions and formats are available on request.

- Slide to Disk
- Have you boxes of slides that never get seen because
its too much trouble to get the projector and screen out? I can
convert these to picture files on CD that can be viewed directly on your
computer or, as originally intended on the big screen, using a digital
projector. If you have strips of film negatives I can provide a hi res
image from these on CD or via email. I can also print these if you wish.

- Copy and Print
- I can copy (up to A3) and print at photo quality (up
to A4) in colour or black & white. This can include enlarging or
reducing the original as required. Lots of combinations are possible;
please ask, I may have options you had not considered.
*Note
I am
currently limited to reproducing pictures in photo quality up to a maximum
size of A4 (roughly 29.5cm by 21cm) including the border. Originals up
to A3 in size will be reduced to A4 prints at photo quality.
Reproductions up to A3 size are also possible using a colour laser printer
but at a reduced resolution.
